It’s true, you can make delicious fresh pizza in the air fryer and not just reheat last nights takeaway pizza leftovers. You can buy ready made pizza base from the supermarket or go one step further and make your own. You can also experiment with alternative toppings but these are a favourite in my house. So this air fryer spicy pizza is an ideal weekend family fake-away, and a great recipe to get the kids involved!
There are literally hundreds of combinations that you can try but when it comes to toppings, this spicy meat feast pizza is our family favourite. Packed with flavourful ingredients like Cajun chicken slices, chorizo, and chopped jalapenos, it’s sure to satisfy even the heartiest appetites. Of course, feel free to customise the toppings to suit your taste preferences, whether you prefer a veggie-packed pizza or a meat lover’s delight.
Head into the kitchen as a family, don your aprons and get kneading. This is a fun recipe that you can tailor to suit each individual and if you choose to make the pizza dough yourself it makes for a fun activity for the whole family. If you’re looking for the faster alternative and you’ve bought ready-made pizza bases, then still gather the family and have everyone join in with adding their favourite toppings.

Ingredients for air fryer spicy pizza
For the Pizza base:
6g of fast acting dried yeast
250g of strong white bread flour
1/2 a teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 a tablespoons of olive oil
175ml of luke warm water
Extra oil and flour for kneading
For the topping:
150g of grated cheese
4 tablespoons of tomato paste
Pre-cooked cajon chicken slices
Chorizo slices
Chopped jalapenos
Seasoning
Method
Pop the flour, yeast, salt, oil and water into a bowl and mix well with your hands. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Put your dough into an oiled bowl, cover with a damp tea towel and leave in a warm dry place for about an hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
Then place the dough onto a floured surface and knead again to remove the air. Cut in half and roll out each dough on a floured surface to the size that will fit your air fryer. Place each pizza base on to baking paper, add the tomato paste followed by the toppings.
Pop your pizza into your air fryer on 190c for around 10 minutes checking half way. But remember each air fryer is different and cooks at different speeds!
Enjoy this air fryer spicy pizza for lunch or dinner. So with its simple ingredients and easy preparation, this recipe is perfect for busy weeknights or leisurely weekends. So why not add it to your meal rotation and treat your family to a tasty homemade pizza night?
