KIT you will need an air fryer and mixing bowls.
Ingredients for air fryer breaded prawns
160g of fresh prawns (not frozen)
3 tablespoons of plain flour
2 eggs, beaten
5 tablespoons of stale bread crumbs
Vegetable oil spray
Salt and pepper to season
For the dressing:
A sprig of parsley, chopped
I clove of garlic, chopped
1 fresh red chilli, sliced
1 lemon, squeezed
Method
Start by dipping each prawn into plain flour, followed by the egg wash then finally into the stale bread crumbs. Spray with a little light vegetable oil then place all your breaded prawns into the air fryer drawer.
Cook on 180c for 4 minutes then turn the prawns over and cook for a further 4 minutes on the other side.
So whilst the prawns are cooking, you can make the simple dressing to go on top of your breaded prawns. Roughly chop the fresh parsley and place in a mixing bowl. Then add in your chopped garlic. Next thinly slice a whole red chilli and add to your bowl. Next add the juice of one whole lemon and season with salt and pepper. Then mix all the ingredients to form the dressing.
So take the prawns out of the air fryer and place on top of salad leaves in a serving dish.
Finally add the dressing over the air fryer breaded prawns and enjoy!
